Happy mothers to all mothers who are spending the day without their husbands. To my mother, Alice Nsiah Bota, you have been the backbone and the invisible link in this family. But especially to my wife, Annica Nsiah-Apau; I know I can send flowers and voice notes but none of that will be as good as being there with you.

You know the job has taken me away from you. But no matter where I am, millions of miles away, even after my death, I need you to know and understand that I appreciate your mothering, not just for the way u make my children smile but also the way you calm me down when things are hot.
