I Take As Much As 200 million Per Show In Ghana- Shatta Wale

On those musicians you’ve been seeing going on tours, they don’t make any money when they go out there. They are just living a lie life more or less faking to the fans. The local champion is making money way more than the so called international acts. Even in Ghana, I take 150 million, 200 million and even more. They go out there and don’t even make anything close to the amounts I take here per show, so why should i worry myself being referred to as a local champion

Clearly Shatta Wale has no issues that he is being tagged a local champion. He had that to say in an interview with Sammy Flex on Pluzz Fm. To him, earning as much as GHS 200K for a show is enough because most of the so called international artistes come home with nothing.

He went further to say that he is the only musician with 4 cars and 2 houses

I love it, local champion but I’m the only musician who has 4 cars and has built two houses, I love the tag local champion.
After his interview, hundreds of fans gathered at the Santa Maria premises of the station to chant his name as he got into his white Range Rover.
