Powered by MTN and with great support from Joy Daddy bitters, Rush energy drink and more. The launch was hosted by YFM's Joel, the Dj on the night, Dj Vyrusky ensured that there wasn’t a dull moment throughout the show as he kept dishing out tunes after tunes to the satisfaction of the much packed crowd but warming up the crowd, the songs he played was just not not, but his performance with Shatta Wale, the chemistry was just something else.
The event was extremely attended; either it was free show or not, people still turned up in their numbers for the album launch.
Documentary of Shatta Wale was shown featuring Shatta Capo, Shatta Michy, Deporti and more and as well the ever popular Kakai video was also shown to the admiration of the fans.
Shatta Wale mounted the stage around 11:10pm thereabout and performed to a live band for close to 3 hours. His delivery on the night was simply unseen of, that was an epic performance, lit to the maximum.
Surprise performers included Sarkodie, Pope Skinny, Duke. The likes of Abeiku Santana, Dr. Duncan among others were also there to support.
Just with some little performance, Sarkodie just took the crowd's energy level to another crescendo, more or less wanting to even steal the show from Shatta Wale, menhh, Sarkodie is just another thing altogether. You should have seen the crowd's reaction when he popped up on stage, simply a sight to behold!
His first performance was with a live band, second section was with Dj and then the third section with Sarkodie was the sing along kind of performance. Shatta wale's costume on the night was dope, his rapport with the crowd was just admirable.
Big ups Shatta Wale for this album launch. That was another record to be broken, and yes big ups the management of SM as well as the fans. You guys rock!! Indeed it was just a landmark historic concert, no two ways, no qualms at all.
The album launch ended around 3:10am.
