2015 BET award-winner, Livingstone Etse Satekla popularly known by all as Stonebwoy has garnered 6 nominations at this year’s VGMAs.
Stonebwoy in the year under review released chart-topping songs such as ‘Mightylele, Zongo gyal ft. Yaa Pono, Rudeboi Love, Come Over ft. MzVee, Sheekena ft. R2bees, the ever popular Go Higher and has collaborated with international artistes such as I Octane, Burna boy, Mc Galaxy, Kranium among others.
He has featured on so many joints so it wasn’t surprising when he grabbed all these nominations at this year’s VGAMs, not to even talk about the awards he won in the year under review; BETs, 3 4stye TV awards, 2AFRIMMAs, Nigerian Music Awards (NEA), 6 BASS Awards and more.
He has been nominated for the following categories in this year’s VGMAs;
Artiste of the year
Most Popular Song of the Year
Reggae/Dancehall Song of the Year
Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year
Song writer of the year
However, Stonebwoy’s resident producer, BeatzDakay is nominated in the Producer of the year category with Go Higher making it in all 6 nominations for the BHIM nation family.
Stonebwoy is currently in the UK preparing for his US Go Higher Concert come this March.
