Shatta Wale reacts after Charter House demands apology for VGMA inclusion

At a press conference organized by Charter House today at the World Trade Centre in Accra, it was announced that until Shatta Wale apologizes to the board, he wouldn’t be included in the list of nominees for the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

Despite his application after a request from fans, the Dancehall King remains disqualified for maligning the VGMA board with ‘defamatory’ videos he released on social media site, Facebook back in 2014 (two years ago).

Reacting to his disqualification and the demand, here’s what Shatta posted on Facebook.

He wrote in full caps;

“WHY SHOULD I ALWAYS I APOLOGIZE FOR THE MONSTER YOU HAVE MADE ME BECOME WHEN NO ONE HAS EVER APOLOGIZED FOR MAKING ME THIS WAY.IF YOU PUT ME IN A CAGE LIKE AN ANIMAL AND FEED ME WITH FRESH BLOODY MEAT FOR YEARS,IMAGINE WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF I BREAK THE CAGE AND COME OUT,I WILL BE FORCED TO LIVE THE BLOODY WAY YOU TRAINED ME”

Looks like he doesn’t understand why he should apologize, blaming Charter House for his actions towards them. Going through comments from fans, many insisted that Shatta Wale shouldn’t apologize.
